A Proud History in Aesthetics

Established in 1979, Gina's College of Aesthetics & Electrolysis was founded and developed by two highly renowed aestheticians Gina De Cicco and her daughter Cristina.

As one of Canada's pioneer in the aesthetics field, European trained Gina De Cicco became a successful business woman, creating and managing one of the first spas in Canada.

Inspired by her mother, Cristina De Cicco-Ramirez studied Aesthetics, Body Therapy, Electrolysis, Aromatherapy and Make-up Artistry in Italy, France and Switzerland. Her extensive background and experience has made her one of the most knowledgeable and respected educators in the field.

Mrs. De Cicco and her daughter decided to share their knowledge in the field by creating their own school - one that would educate students in their successful European method.

The success of Gina's College of Advanced Aesthetics in Waterloo, Ontario has prompted the expansion of the college to school throughout Ontario including campuses in Mississauga and Ottawa.

Our mission is to provide the student with the advanced training, and to develop the competitive edge, needed to succeed within today's aesthetic industry.

Our affiliation with the original Gina's Health & Beauty Spa located in Waterloo and Intercosmetics, a leading spa and beauty supplier (both with over 20 years of operational success) allows us to draw upon valuable resources and information within the industry which is regularly incorporated into the curriculum to remain current and practical.

Gina's College teaches the European method, as learned by Gina and Cristina in Italy. With may years of experience, they then expanded the method to master the ancient secret of the trade while taking advantage of the most modern technologies with programs that far exceed the norm and continually elevate the standards of aesthetics.

Gina's College of Advanced Aesthetics pride ourselves in the delivery style, incorporating comprehensive theory with over 50% practical application. Students will gain hands-on experience daily in the school's apprenticeship clinic, working on each other and with the public, under instructor supervision.
